I work as a criminal defense lawyer, having handled thousands of cases over the last 35 years.   My clients have included government employees, professionals from all different fields, law enforcement, and ordinary working people.   My cases range from complex financial crimes to drug distribution to murder and almost everything in-between.  Many of my cases are referred by other attorneys who do not primarily practice criminal defense.  

I've represented clients in all 21 counties, having achieved not guilty verdicts in hard to win jury trials.   As lead counsel on one of the very rare 4-3 New Jersey Supreme Court decisions, my client won a dismissal of all criminal charges.   I have also been retained as counsel on federal criminal cases in Washington, New York and Florida.  

While I maintain a record of success involving trials and pre-trial resolutions, I especially take great pride in having resolved many criminal investigations without any charges being filed.  I have had many cases where charges and indictments have been dismissed on various grounds, including defendant's incompetency and deficient evidence presented to the grand jury.
